Hearing Aids

Modern hearing aids are completely digital and are custom programmed to your specific hearing needs. There are many types of hearing aids and each style offers different features. Don’t be overwhelmed by the choices. Let Hears to You help you select the perfect type and features for your hearing needs and lifestyle. We come to you, so you can purchase hearing aids when and where it is convenient for you.

Hearing Aid Styles

Today’s hearing aids are small, compact and discreet. Some fit completely in the ear or the ear canal while others are worn behind the ear. Your level of hearing loss and lifestyle are key factors in determining the style of hearing aids you wear.

  • In-the-ear (ITE) devices are worn in the outer portion of the ear canal. They work well for people to mild to severe levels of hearing loss.

  • In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aids fit completely inside the canal. They may have a small portion outside the canal to aid with insertion and removal. This style is designed for those with mild to moderate hearing loss.

  • Behind-the-ear (BTE) styles have a small receiver in the ear attached to the body of the hearing aid that is worn behind the ear. These models are worn by people with mild to severe hearing loss.
